I was working for a private airline company in Delhi,
India and always wanted to do something of my own. 
Hi, I am Rohini Singh, I live in Delhi India. I was working for a private airline company since last 6 years. My job as a cabin crew took me to places in India which I enjoyed a lot but was also very tiring job as I have to work for long shifts during night and day. This also kept me away from my family and specially my baby boy, so I use to always thing of doing something of my own some day. In 2020 Covid-19 hit the world and everyone was highly affected. Economy went down many companies faced a huge loss and aviation sector was no other. I lost my job which was a huge blow for me. For some days I was wounding what to do now? At this time I turned this situation to an opportunity. Nail extensions are a dream for every girl and as a cabin crew I use to get them a lot of times. Being a mother and a housewife is a greatest job and responsibility which I had been doing perfectly since last 20 years. I wanted to do something and earn by myself and stand on my feet.. I got married at 20 years of age only due to which I could not peruse my dreams and the soon had a responsibility of 2 kids which got me engaged within family even more. So as a Indian female we sometimes we have to crush our dreams, but I was not one of those who will let my dreams die. What’s up everybody!! My name is Priyanka and I am a makeup artist in Delhi, India. I have been in to beauty industry (makeup artist) since last 7 years and have been doing pretty well. I get a lots of bridal and party makeup and nails are a very important part, Since last 2 years all my customers were demanding for a in-house nail technician so that they may get all solution under one roof. I could have hired any radom nail tech and get my business running, but I knew that if I start and new product and if I don't have knowledge of that product I will not be able to deliver good quality and will not be able to understand what is going wrong and what should be the correct solution for that and any nail tech I hire, I will not be able to judge his/her work. So it was very important for me to learn nails so that I can keep my quality at the top which has always been my priority. “Nikki” Means “Victory for the people” in American standards, and when my name says if for the people, how can I be a looser. Hi, I am Nikki , a commerce graduate from Delhi university. I have always been a good at studies and always love to do something. Sitting idle and doing nothing was never an option for me. I believe one should always try new skills and skills never go wasted. I originally belong to Chandigarh and have been studding New Delhi since last 3 years and I love the place. In 2020 I was promoted to 3rd and final year of my graduation. Then came the lockdown and I was forced to sit at home. I knew when it opens I was not going to get any job easily as economy was all time low due to lockdown. So I planned to get some new skills as a carrier option and will also keep o searching a good job. My research brought me to nail art and extension learning. I joined what now I believe the best nail academy, Lavish Nails. I was taught different techniques for nail extensions and many nail art forms. When I decide to learn something I want perfection and I gave all my dedication towards learning. My nail course was finished in about 25 days. No I loving it so much that I have started my nail bar in my hometown. I get to meet new people every day, share experiences and spend time with them while doing nails which is one of the best part .

I am working for a mobile tech giant Vivo India in Gurugram which is completely opposite direction from my home. I have to travel for about 50 to 60 kilometers daily which took 3 to 4 hours daily. So all in all I have to invest 12 to 13 hours on a day to fulfill my job which is very tiring. I request my company officials to approve work from home. Within few days my request was approved by I have to visit 2 days in a week which was completely okay for me. Now I had time to do my job peacefully and was saving a lot of time. I got my nails done from Lavish Nails Surajmal Vihar as I have to attend a wedding. This was my first time, I got my nails done and I loved it. After some days I had a thought, why not learn it. I have enough time and money. Who knows the future and this could be a future as a nail artist for me. I contacted them and learned everything about the certified course. I took 3 to 4 days to finalize and decide. After a lot of thought I decided to go for the training. It took me a little long to complete my course as I have to do my office work. When it comes to any form of art or skills, practice is the key to success. Now I have made a strict daily routine and practice nail for 2 hours daily and I am improving at it. Who knows about the future? I might start my nail bar soon. Skills never go wasted
Childhood dream turned in to a passionate job
Since the starting of my teen age I use to love nails. I was so obsessed with nail that I started applying nail paint on my nails when I was 14 years. My mom use to yell at me and advised me not to do that as I was too young for nail paint. This obsession increased day by day and it was like meditation for me. Till I was 16 years I was not satisfied with just nail paint. I needed extension also and a lots of art. I ordered some acrylic and gel stuff on line and started doing and trying many things. Nail paint is okay but when it comes to extensions , you need a proper guidance for filing the nail and sticking tips to nails and do a gel or acrylic buildup. Without any formal training I sometimes use to damage my nail and hurt them. Now I had to find someone where I can know all this and learn. I found Mahima’s nails salon very near to my home and enrolled for a hobby course as I just want learn some basic things. It was a 5 day classes and got all my doubts cleared and now I do all my nails by myself, which is a fun and love for me. I am involved in my family business and plan to turn my hobby in to my profession.
